“Resurrection is a bloody, chaotic affair as the fist that crushes your enemy is also the hand that leads your people to freedom. Gomez’s bloody story is of the resurrection and apocalypse made one, steel tempered in a bath of blood.” - Mick Strawn - Production Designer (Nightmare On Elm Street), Author of ‘Behind The Screams’
There are infinite souls lost in Hell ever since God closed the gates of Heaven. Lucifer could no longer witness the atrocities poured upon humanity that the Almighty would purposefully ignore.
After being cast into Hell, Lucifer rose to rule the damned dimension and made a plan to return home by inhabiting the body of Christ. The Son of God, Jesus, lived on Earth as an enlightened man of peace and love, tested with doubt, cruelty, and humility. It was the one chance for Lucifer to instill the body of Jesus, knowing that he’d be martyred and resurrected back to Heaven.
He was one life away from fulfilling His crusade, but Lucifer soon realized that ALL souls deserve to be free from the bonds of Heaven and Hell. At the last moment before his last breath, Lucifer cursed God from the cross, sealing his fate to return to Hell.
After leading a life of peace, enduring the violent ignorance of the masses on Earth, Lucifer, the Christ, unleashes his long-constrained fury against the structures and rulers of Hell. Throughout his journey, Lucifer trudges through the cold, dark horrors of Hell, fighting the minion parasites, and destroying gods from the inside out, and it’s all to build an army with the residing souls.
